Scope of Project: GSMA Mobile for Development Utilities uses mobile technology to enable improved or increased access to energy, water, and sanitation services for underserved communities. They have awarded 18-month Innovation Fund grants to mobile operators, social enterprises, and their partners across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific to leverage mobile technology in this way.

Our Work: Working with our sister concern Tyers Consulting Ltd, Panoply Digital managed the qualitative impact assessment of the GSMA grant portfolio, managing external research agencies in-country, and overseeing the research and evaluation process.

Countries Served: Kenya, Nepal, Tanzania, Benin, Madagascar, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Haiti, Vanuatu, Gambia, Ghana, and Bangladesh.
